The Position: Warehouse Team Leader A warehouse Team Leader is responsible for supervising the day-to-day activities of team members. To ensure operations run seamlessly and on time. As the one in charge of the warehouse, Team Leader’s play the managerial role on the work site. Overseeing the welfare and productivity level of all workers. Duties and Responsibilities: • Must be able to lift/carry 50 pounds of weight. • Direct and oversee logistical services, objectives, and initiatives. • Warehouse maintenance and cleanliness. • Bilingual Spanish and English is a must. • Forklift experience is a must. • Ability to work under pressure in a warehouse setting with uncontrolled climate. • Constantly inspect all work equipment to identify shortages and damages and relate findings to management for quick resolution to enable smooth flow of operations. • Work as the middleman between management and workers to facilitate good communication and airing of complaints from both parties and see to it that all issues are sorted out. • Overseeing the flow of inventory through the warehouse, by ensuring that it is accurately stored and cataloged • Planning, organizing, and directing activities within the warehouse to ensure that inventory levels are maintained • Communicating with other departments or managers to ensure that orders are fulfilled according to schedule • Ensuring that all warehouse equipment is working properly and that safety procedures are followed • Reviewing inventory records, to ensure that the correct amount of product is available. • Monitoring employee attendance and productivity and taking steps to improve performance where necessary.
