The lawyer couple who defended their property and their lives from protesters back in 2020 by displaying firearms as a deterrent continue to pay an appalling and absurd price for their actions. They had their front gate smashed over from the protesters. The protesters threatened them with bodily harm and property destruction. They even threatened to kill their dog. They spent hundreds of hours and thousands of dollars defending themselves from a D.A. who had ulterior political motives. Their licenses are suspended indefinitely by the Supreme Court of Missouri. They had to plead guilty to misdemeanor assault. They plead guilty to misdemeanor harassment. Their legally obtained weapons were confiscated then destroyed. They have to provide quarterly reports to a probation monitor – including whether they are charged with additional crimes. They have to provide 100 hours of free legal services. They were used as political fodder to a despicable D.A. They were vilified by liberal media. And it continues. This is NOT the America we should cherish and die for. Their treatment is grossly unfair and is too high a price to pay for defending themselves in accordance with their rights. This sets a bad precedent and should never be repeated. What price did the protesters pay?
