For almost 40 years, we’ve been building a reputation for quality, service and safety. We are currently looking to add to our team of professionals a Construction Laborer/Assistant Production Supervisor. Most of our work takes place in the East Metro, especially the St. Croix Valley including Western WI. The Assistant Production Supervisor would work closely with the Production Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations of several construction sites. • Making sure job sites are clean • Assisting in scheduling and job site coordination • Assisting in Material orders and pick ups • Making sure materials are on-site and weather protected • Directing subs and vendors and building excellent working relationships with them • Daily to weekly expert communications with homeowners and ensuring their understanding and overall satisfaction with the project. • Occasional light demolition, site prep, and light framing and light trim carpentry. • Responsible for efficient project punchlist coordination and completion. Candidate Should Possess the following Abilities and Attributes: • Leadership- Must be able to work in a team as well as at times lead the team • Knowledge-General Construction Aptitude, Able to read and understand blueprints and specifications. - Will train the right person • Willingness - Must have the drive to learn • Communication- Must have strong communication skills and willing to learn to become and expert communicator. Must be comfortable with mobile applications for project management software. • Dependability-Must be dependable and have good follow through. • Experience-Previous experience in construction or building material industry (Preferred). • Tool familiarity- Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools. • Physical- Ability to stand for 8-10+ hour work shifts Must be able to work on a ladder, bend, twist, squat and reach. • Heavy Lifting.
