No predetermined style. Everyone is openminded, respectful of each other's talents and the different places we're each coming from. We're all interested in blending the best of what we each do into something new. It may end up punk, it may end up alt rock, it may end up super heavy, it may end up bluesy, it may end up just being straight forward "Rock N' Roll"... it will definitely rock. It will definitely be artistic. Bands we're into: AC/DC, Tom Waits, Sex Pistols, Nick Cave, Leonard Cohen, Echo & The Bunnymen, Nine Inch Nails, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Sisters of Mercy, White/Rob Zombie, Motorhead, Dropkick Murphys, Mars Volta, Muse, The Killers, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, The Prodigy, Chemical Brothers, The Doors, Kavinsky, The War On Drugs, etc... Looking for someone who can help us make things more unique than just a straightforward guitar/bass rock band. Come up with unique textures and sounds. Hopefully play piano adequately. Not sure we want to get into lots of timed loops, etc... we don't think we want the band playing to a click live. We want things to be organic and have the freedom to be spontaneous and full of improv. However, if you're really into creating loops and you think you can prove us wrong and show us how cool they are, we'll hear you out. Please respond with video, or at least audio recordings. PLEASE.
