Choker setters/Chaser wanted

We are looking for strong, ambitious people that have a desire to work in the logging industry on a cable logging crew. Experience a plus, but we will train. The Choker Setter's primary job duty is setting chokers and sometimes assisting in equipment set up. The chaser works on the landing unbelling chokers, delimbing with a chainsaw and coordinating with the equipment operators on the landing. Other rigging positions also available for experienced personnel. Skills to have for these positions are punctuality, communication skills and a good attitude. Physical requirements/Work environment: Must be able to carry 50 pounds and have the ability to orient, climb and traverse steep, rugged terrain on a consistent basis in sometimes harsh weather conditions. Requires the use of standard safety equipment in regulation with the Logging Safety Initiative. Shift is M-F 8 hours per day. We work in Whatcom, Skagit and Snohomish counties. A valid driver's license is required. Benefits package includes leave pay, medical insurance and 401k plan upon qualification. Experiences persons will start above $21 per hour based on their skill level and experience. We work year round.
