Description
I have two 6" or 8" "vent Fans" that I have already cut the holes and installed the vent covers in the floor for. They need to be wired to the existing circuit in my garage Iim hoping they can be tied into the light circuit as there are only two lights in the whole grange) in order to push the cool air (garage is below grade on one side) up into the hotter air of the second floor. The wire can be ran in exposed conduit-mounted to the drywall. In fact I have some shielded 12 or 14 gauge wire I believe in my garage already that might be able to be used for this project. I will need a switch in the garage also to turn them on and off.
Please provide your experience, if you are insured and licensed? And your availability and a ball park price to run about 40 feet of conduit, mount it, and hook up the fans, with a switch. (the fans presently have a 110 plug hardwired to them which will need rot be cut and hardwired of course) (or 110 outlets installed next to fan install)
