Hiring Janitorial/Maintenance Utility Positions

Commercial facilities company ABM is hiring for two Daytime Janitorial Utility Technician positions for commercial office buildings in Downtown Portland. Job Duties: • Perform carpet cleaning using wet vacuum machines • Perform pressure washing and leaf blowing of parking garage, building exterior, and surrounding sidewalk area • Use scrubber/buffing machines to scrub and polish floors • Light Maintenance, changing light bulbs, etc. Necessary Skills: • Ability to communicate effectively in person and via phone/radio • Experience using leaf blower and pressure washer machine and PPE • Experience using carpet cleaner and floor scrubbing machines and equipment • Knowledge of floor care machines and cleaning agents *Prior experience in a floor care/maintenance tech position is a plus Both positions are daytime schedules. One is a 6 hour position, the other is 8 hours Monday - Friday.
