Red Eared Slider Available for Re-Homing I have a approx. 10 year old red eared slider named squirt for rehoming. I’ve had her since she was the size of a quarter (bought her when I was a teenager on an impulse at a beach store). Rehoming because I don’t have the time and dedication to give to her and want her to go somewhere where someone will appreciate her more. She is healthy and has never had any issues. She obviously behaves like a semiaquatic turtle so she does not like to be handled. Not an appropriate pet for children. She doesn’t get along with other turtles. She comes with a large approx 75 gal tank, tank stand with storage, large canister filter, basking platform (not pictured), UV light, heat lamp, tank light, rocks, water conditioner, food, and some tank cleaning supplies. You will need a truck to haul. I am not comfortable rehoming her with someone who would put her outside since she has never brumated and there is risk of predators. I understand some people keep their turtles outside, but I do not want to place her in that environment. She has always been inside. Rehoming fee applies (ask and willing to negotiate for the right home!), but all listed supplies are included. Please contact me for additional information.
