Found two 1 week old kittens - mom was hit by a car

Found two kittens that are about a week old. Mom was hit by a car. I am looking for a nursing mom who may need some kittens or if there are any rescue agencies out there that can attend to kittens this young. I know the pound will take them but I'm trying to save them from the gas chamber. Thank you!
