The Magic Make Ready Housekeeper is responsible for the following duties, reports directly to the Operations Director, and is expected to make quality, efficiency, time management and teamwork his/her top priority. This position is to assist the team to deliver outstanding make ready quality and ensure 100% scores on every apartment delivered. Our goal is to provide a quality yet stress-free experience to all property management professionals. Essential Job Functions: • Must take pride in their work • Strive to perform apartment cleans in the most time-efficient manner • Ensures the excellence in cleanliness, sanitation, and attention to detail • Inspects apartments continuously, recording, and correcting deficiencies • Successfully completes cleaning checklists ensuring 100% completion and client satisfaction • Identifies opportunities to save time throughout the make ready process without hindering quality • Assists Crew Leader and Maintenance Technician as needed • Demonstrates and maintains a service-oriented environment by exhibiting a professional appearance and attitude • Communicates with clients in a professional and customer service-oriented manner • Assists with light bulb/air filter changes, carrying equipment, painting prep, and carpet shampoos as needed • Assist in the distribution of flyers and other materials as needed • Performs preventative maintenance as needed • Ability to inspect community grounds throughout the day as needed, removing any trash, debris or pet waste and ensuring that common and amenity areas are neat and free of litter Other job functions: • Performs maintenance and preventative maintenance as needed • Identifies opportunities for additional company revenue including chargebacks for time/materials and new work • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt quickly to shifting priorities • The employee may be required to operate a motorized vehicle and other equipment. • Employee must be able to carry equipment (step stool, cleaning supplies) in their vehicle and drive around Austin and surrounding cities based on the time scheduled. • Ability to use a smart phone and phone apps as well as general computer skills. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. • Lift and carry objects up to 50 lbs. • Carry and maintain all company owned equipment. • The employee will have to walk and stand for extended periods. The standing and walking will include uneven and slippery surfaces. • The employee will have to climb ladders or stairs, kneel, crouch and/or crawl to inspect various elements of the unit. • The employee will need to push, pull, finger, grasp and feel in order to inspect the job or to perform various duties. • The employee will need to have the visual acuity to determine the accuracy, neatness and thoroughness of the work assigned and to make observations as to the quality of the product. • The employee may be required to operate a motorized vehicle and other equipment. Employment Qualification • Self-motivated, positive, high-energy person • Demonstrated work ethic with a history of loyalty and integrity • Valid driver’s license and insurance • 2-3 years of residential or commercial cleaning experience required.
