Description
Baxter turned 1 on April, 7th. He is a sweet and playful puppy with lots of energy. He is 30lbs and full grown. I am rehoming him because I have been unable to control his barking (I live in an apt building) and the landlord said he cannot stay. He would do best in a home that has a yard he can run around in or with someone that doesn't mind many long walks a day.
He has lived with another dog and a cat. I have had him for 2 months now. His previous owner bought him as a puppy and was unable to keep him because her son is autistic and Baxter is a wild puppy.
I am on the list at the humane society to rehome, as well as 2 of their partner sites, but have run out of time to wait. He must leave.
He is up to date on his shots, had his heart guard chew and vectra flea and tick medicine. The vet recommended a back pack to wear him out, so he has one as well. He is house broken and knows basic commands when treats are involved.
He came to me not neutered and should be. He didn't know how to ride in the car. He loves it now. We go to the dog park 1 to 2 times per week and he does pretty well with all other dogs. He currently lingers around female dogs not spayed there though. He was terrified of all dogs when we first brought him there.
He comes with a a bed, collar, leash, toys, food, back pack and vet paperwork. I am asking a $75 rehoming fee to help ensure he is going to a good home. Willing to work with the right home. Again, he will need to be neutered.
Please contact me if you are interested in becoming Baxter's furever home.
