Description
Have 2 male pyr mix pups. The white pup and brown/black pup.
Approx 3 months old. 75% great pyrenees 25% border collie. Rescued from bad situation, lady was farming purebred dogs but starving them to death (literally).
They seem in good health, just really skinny. I dewormed them with pyrantel/praziquantel. Can't give puppy shots til they're back to good weight. All you'd need to do is make sure they can freely access food and water most of the day and they'll hit healthy weight.
These will probably be fantastic livestock guard dogs, they're already kind of upset about meeting new dogs so full grown they'll be great for going after stray dogs or coyotes. Will accept other dogs but only if owner accepts them. Since being starved, they worship whoever gives them food so they won't run away like some Pyrs do. Fine with cats, probably won't be cat killers.
Might have potential to make a good pet but be aware these are unsocialized LGD type farm dogs who've only been kept outside in cramped pens, so while they are cute they will be a lot of work. Do breed research and be ready to potentially pay for a dog trainer and work through issues.
Not free, message me to discuss rehome fee. They're big dogs who are gonna eat a lot. I don't want them back in the same situation I saved them from, with someone owning/breeding dogs they can't afford to feed.
Will travel to meet. I have trucker friends and friends who drive all over NC and sometimes VA.
