22nd Amendment

Description

The 22nd Amendment to the US Constitution limits the term of the president of the United States to two elected 4 year terms and a total of 10 years if the vice president is elevated to the office of president, without being elected. What does this mean? Let's consider a potential timeline. Is it possible that Mr. Joe will retain the office until some time after January 20, 2023, resign, and then Ms. Kamala will be sworn in as president of the United States? The hope is that Ms. Kamala will then occupy the office for just short of 2 years, plus 2 elected terms for a total of that is under the 10 year term limit. They are always planning years ahead while we focus on the little shiny objects they are dangling in front of our eyes.
