Junk Smiths is seeking full-time Drivers to help continue to support our growing company. If you are dependable, hard-working, and have both good communication skills Come join our team. We are immediately hiring and training new employees. Our current average Team lead/Driver is earning over $22 per hour (including base pay + bonus + tips + overtime), with some earning close to $27/hour. Navigators (helpers on the trucks) are averaging almost $21/hour (including base pay + bonus + tips + overtime). Veterans encouraged to apply. Come join the The Junk Smiths Family! REQUIREMENTS • Customer Service: Treat every customer with exceptional service, communication and attitude. • Sales: Onsite selling. Educate clients about pricing and services and the benefit to them prior to giving an estimate and ensuring a positive experience. Be able to confidently price jobs. • Truck Operations: Safely operate the Junk Smiths trucks at all times. Make sure daily inspections are performed. • Junk Removal: Heavy lifting and removal of junk (i.e. house hold items, appliances, yard waste, etc.) from business, and, residential sites. • Marketing and Brand: Working to build and maintain the Junk Smiths brand and image. Ensure that there are enough materials on the truck for marketing drop offs. • Time Management: Be able to make logistical decisions within the provided daily schedule (when to dispose, how to best complete a job, how to market during downtimes). • Teamwork: Working in teams every day to complete the task at hand. QUALIFICATIONS • Strong customer service/people skills. • Management/Leadership experience a plus. • Must be able to problem solve on the job. • Excellent communication skills. • Ability to lift 75 lbs. • Drivers must be at least 26 years old, hold a valid driver's license and have a clean driving record (CDL not required).. • Preference for working in a fast-paced and fun environment. • Ability to work without direct supervision.
