NEW ROCHELLE, NY — It's almost that time of year again in New Rochelle when you don't have to get up early and move your car, especially after you drove around for an hour to find a space on the street right near your home. Alternate side parking restrictions will be suspended in New Rochelle from Jan. 1 to March 31, city officials said. A complete listing of affected streets can be found here. City officials note that parking regulations exist throughout the city for reasons other than street sweeping. Drivers are advised to carefully review posted parking regulations against the list because non-street sweeping-related parking regulations will be enforced.
