SHIFT: Wed-Fri 1pm to 10pm and Sat-Sun 2pm-8pm PAY: $16.50 The Dishwasher is primarily responsible for washing, drying, and putting away dishes and small wares used in the kitchen. Responsible for cleaning the kitchen and assisting with cleaning in our restaurant, Harvest Grill. Requires bending, twisting, standing, and walking. Requires using hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools or controls. Requires meeting strict deadlines. Requires work with others in a group or team. Includes responsibility for work outcomes and results. Includes responsibility for the health and safety of others. Requires wearing common protective or safety equipment. Job tasks are performed in close physical proximity to other people. Requires working indoors in environmentally controlled conditions. · Washes dishes, glassware, flatware, and meal preparation equipment and returns them to their designated shelves. · Ability to lift or transfer 40 pounds without assistance. · Inspects cleaned items to assure they meet cleanliness standards. · Record wash and rinse temperatures. · Record hours worked daily. · Follow sanitation standards and practices. · Empty and re-line garbage cans and lids. · Clean all garbage cans. · Recycle all cardboard, plastics, metals, composting. Clean work areas and food presentation areas as needed. · Attend department and company trainings and in-services. · Read and apply MSDS information on all cleaning products. · Follow and apply safety precautions. · Refer to written documentation such as tray cards, menu, written instructions for set up and clean up procedures. · Communicate with manager and staff regarding procedural instructions, safety concerns, resident information, or concerns as well as changes in work conditions. · Overall kitchen cleanliness and sanitation. · Supervisory Responsibility: Position has no direct supervisory responsibility.
