MIAMI BEACH, FL – A woman's body was found in an apartment in the 600 block of Meridian Avenue in Miami Beach Saturday afternoon, said Ernesto Rodriguez, public information office for Miami Beach police. Police arrived at the apartment at 12:37 p.m. after receiving a 911 call about a dead body inside. The woman's body was "in the advanced stages of decomposition," Rodriguez said. The Medical Examiner's office has ruled her death a homicide, he said. The victim's name hasn't been identified yet.
