Looking for conversation

I find myself starved for intellectual conversation these days and no one really seems to want to connect anymore. I'm not a brain surgeon or anything, but I have a couple of degrees; mainly in human development/sociology and am always trying to grow and learn as a human being. Not trying to get super heavy, but I like to have discussions about stuff. Most of the people I know and love, just don't really seem interested in anything significant, or at the very least, probably don't care. Is there anyone out there like this besides me? Not interested really in conversating over text (in the beginning okay) or email for the duration, but connecting in real time getting coffee or a beer or something? Now for you men out there thinking this is "cue" for a hookup, don't bother. I am 51 and in full blown menopause and have no interest in sex. Any interested females would be great to chat with, most of my gal pals are either busy with family or only want to go shopping, which I care nothing about. I don't care what you religious or political views are, as long as you can have them without being a douche bag about the other side. Civil conversation but opposite views are fine =) Any takers?
