Bread Delivery Driver (Non-CDL) North Charleston, SC Job Type: Full-Time Qualifications: Drivers License (Required) Driving Box Truck 1 year experience preferred Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday (half day) Wednesday & Sunday Off Start Time: 3 AM Approximate End Time: 12 PM (Noon) Position Overview: This is a full-time position, early mornings, delivering bread to stores/restaurants in the Charleston/Summerville/Moncks Corner area. Up to 8 to 9 stops per day. Pickup load at warehouse, load/unload products at customer locations, delivering according to established procedures in all weather conditions. We issue a W-2 Form, no 1099 Forms or off the books requests. Pre-Employment Requirements: Ability to lift, bend, reach above the head, kneel, crouch, and/or stretch Ability to push/pull trays on dollies Ability to operate and navigate a 16 ft. box truck Possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record 18 years of age or older/ Authorized to work in the United States Must be available to work Saturday (work a half day on Saturdays) Willingness to learn and adapt & have high ethical standards Proven record of reliability/Attention to detail & problem solve independently Strong communication skills Self-motivated and able to work in a self-directed environment with an upbeat attitude General Responsibilities: Load truck in the morning, ensuring complete order is loaded Ensure load is secure to prevent products from damage Use handheld Tablet to deliver bread on an assigned route Manage schedule accordingly to make timely deliveries Interact in a positive and professional manner with customers and the general public while delivering products Return back to the warehouse and off load stale products Ensure delivery vehicle is clean, and in good operating condition at all times Work Location: Start and end the day at Warehouse (North Charleston) and deliver to stores in the Charleston, Summerville, and Moncks Corner area
