Hello I am an experienced Nature hiking fishing camping tour guide and have much experience identifying California flora and fauna. (plants and animals) I have worked for plant nurseries and for the Sierra national forest Botanist. Where I studied plants in the forest near Yosemite national Park. I have been a wildlife rescue volunteer for many years and can identify many of the critters and other interesting things you may find in the forest. I volunteered for fish hatcheries and in National parks. I enjoy studying mycology, entomology, botany, geology and anything in nature. (mushrooms, bugs, plants and rocks) I am a biology student seeking extra income. I love hiking and exploring and sharing my knowledge with others I would be happy to lead individuals or groups of nature loving folks on a guided hike or tour outdoors in the area of your choice (I have many suggested locations that you may choose from as well) you can learn birdwatching and plants/animals identification, I will instruct you on hiking tips and safety and answer any questions. Each client may choose the length and location of their outdoor adventure. All levels of physical activity welcome- handicapped tours available too! Price is negotiable starting at $20 per hour for my time and expertise. (Distance and number of people may cost more) I have lived in the mountains my entire life And have many outdoor hobbies from axe throwing to taxidermy. I have binoculars for birdwatching and several microscopes for exploring the microscopic critters too. I’m happy to share my outdoor knowledge and expertise in camping/survival skills, and just general outdoor/nature experience that I have gained over many years.
