For over 20 years, Automation Dynamics has been a leader in the automation of commercial industrial equipment. We are a UL508A authorized plant. We design and build our own computer and control systems. We are currently seeking a highly motivated individual with a skill set similar to that of an HVAC technician to assist with the installation of heavy plant industrial equipment for our customers throughout the USA and Canada. The successful candidate will join our growing team operating at our base in Independence, Missouri. As a Field Technician, your primary duties/responsibilities will include (non-exhaustive): • Assisting with the development of installation plans and agendas for our projects. • Assisting our Engineering team with layout drawings/prints. • Assisting with the testing of the equipment prior to shipping/installation. • Assisting with the physical task of installing stainless steel work stations, running the tubing from the station to a vacuum bin in 6” PVC pipe. • Coordinating the installation or repair work to be done with the customer. • Assisting with the packaging of the equipment, tools and supplies required for an installation/repair or upgrade project for delivery to the project site. • Assist with the unloading of the equipment at the customer’s premises. The successful candidate will have: • A high school graduate or GED; • Minimum of 4 years of experience doing similar work or a combination of college courses in either Mechanical Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering Technology, Maintenance Engineering or Engineering, plus a minimum of 1 year of experience in either control wiring, 3 phase electrical, millwright work, plumbing and steel fabrication • Competent in the use of precision measurement tools (e.g. micrometers and gauges), pneumatic tools and hand tools. • Ability to drive a forklift (preferred but not required) • A good understanding of machines and a strong knowledge of safety best practices Your Skills / Attributes should include: • Teamworking • Troubleshooting and Creative problem-solving skills • Strong organizational and communication skills and an eye for detail Our Benefits & Compensation Package includes: • Salary/Hourly Pay • Paid Vacation (incremental increases) • 5 Paid Holidays Annually To Apply for the Panel Technician role: Step 1: Click Reply to E-mail your resume and cover letter (word / pdf format).
