JOB#974-181 Pacesetter Personnel Services is hiring a Sign Installer Assistant in Southwest Houston, TX 77081. We are looking for a skilled Sign Installer for interior and exterior signage installation at multifamily communities. You will perform all installations, inspections, repairs, and refurbishment onsite. You will be working with signs, sign components, and various materials such as wood, aluminum, stone, etc. You will ensure all signage is correct and suitable for final inspection. You will use your hands to do the job with precision and must have great manual dexterity. Ability to read instructions represented in drawings and schematics, and follow them with precision is extremely important. The goal is to install superior signage for multifamily apartment communities. Responsibilities · Install interior and exterior signs, throughout the United States once hired on permanently · Working with Production Management to review schedules and coordinate the installation trips · Read and comprehend instructions and follow established procedures · Collect all material and equipment needed for each installation · Take precision measurements to ensure perfect fit of components · Check output to ensure highest quality · Maintain equipment in good condition · Keep records of installation quantities, locations, and photographing signs · Maintain documentation of all signs delivered and installed · Responsible for full installation field reports, including but not limited to, signage installed, issues encountered, malfunctions or defective signage, signage not installed & reasons why, photographs, & all documentation of work performed. · Assisting with fabrication and assembly when not installing · Packaging and crating completed signage Skills and Qualifications: · Proven experience in the sign industry, a minimum of 2 years is preferred or 3-5 years construction/carpentry experience or will train the right person with no experience · Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record · Must pass a criminal background check. · Must be able and willing to travel throughout the United States. · Ability to lift 50-60 lbs. · Ability to work on with CNC router, table saws, measuring tape, power tools, hand tools, etc. · Previous experience working with acrylic, aluminum, wood, metal, and various materials · Technical knowledge and ability to read blueprints, drawings etc. · Ability in signage assembly including application of vinyl, weeding, and paint masking · Good understanding of quality control principles · Good communication skills (verbal and written) · Excellent hand-eye coordination and physical condition Pay: $13.50 an hour. We pay weekly. Schedule: Monday-Friday from 7:00AM-5:00PM.
