This position is in Cargill’s protein and salt business, where we provide wholesome, high-quality food products to a wide range of customers, from foodservice operators and grocery stores to manufacturers and exporters. Principal Accountabilities: ◾Maintain and optimize all aspects of the facility’s industrial ammonia system, including exposure to water treatment chemicals ◾Create and review task procedures, Preventative Maintenance (PM) orders, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) ◾Support in the training of other team members of the maintenance department ◾Complete daily schedule work and necessary documentation ◾Comprehending (mechanical/electrical) schematics, blueprints, and/or operation manuals ◾Maintain facility equipment and systems (such as HVAC, air compressors, etc.), troubleshooting to diagnose issues as necessary ◾Support management team to promote quality and yield improvements, and in Planned Scheduled Maintenance (PSM) compliance audits ◾Understand and adhere to all safety policies and procedures ◾Maintain a safe and clean work environment ◾All job duties and schedule may be revised by the supervisor when necessary to accommodate business needs. What You Will Need: ◾Must be eligible to work in the United States without Visa sponsorship ◾Must be 18 years or older ◾Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written) ◾Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 50lbs, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting, with or without a reasonable accommodation ◾Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc., with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) ◾Ability to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above) ◾Ability to work overtime including weekends, holidays, or different shifts with advance notice ◾Willingness to participate on the Hazardous Materials (HAZMAT) team, which includes receiving training and wearing a respirator ◾Certified Assistant Refrigeration Operator (CARO) Certification ◾3 years of industrial maintenance experience 💥💥💥💥💥 Learn more and Apply Online at: Cargill is an equal opportunity employer, including Disability/Vet
