Our Roving Irrigation Maintenance Technician will perform the day-to-day upkeep and repairs of our properties irrigation systems to include monitoring all irrigation systems in our portfolio of properties an a weekly basis. The ideal candidate will be a team-player with a background in irrigation with knowledge of the apartment industry or the desire to learn the apartment industry. The ideal candidate for this position must be willing and able to travel to Mesa, Gilbert, Glendale, and Tolleson. Mileage reimbursement between properties, and minor tools provided. Responsibilities Roving position to encompass all properties (locations listed above) Monitor all irrigation systems in portfolio on a weekly basis Monitor water usage at each property on a weekly basis Repair all irrigation systems Maintain irrigation valves and timer boxes for optimal use Monitor landscaping company and direct them to areas not being maintained properly. Other duties as assigned Skills Proven experience with irrigation maintenance Experience using hand and electrical tools Ability to read technical manuals and drawings Very good communication and interpersonal skills Physical stamina and dexterity Valid driver license and reliable transportation is required High school diploma or GED Must be able to speak, read, and write English in a manner sufficient to carry out the duties Drug and background testing required EOE We participate in the e-verify program www.dhs.gov/E-verify   To apply click on this link: (or enter the url into your browser)
