We have an immediate opening for a full-time assistant warehouse manager position where your responsibilities would include assisting the warehouse manager with, shipping via 3PL brokers, receiving products and inventory reporting and control, boxing products for shipping, loading and unloading customers and semi- trailers with forklift, keeping warehouse organized, stocking product on pallets, using a pallet jack and similar activities. Work hours Mon-Fri 9am-5:00pm (Weekends possible when needed, very rare) Starting salary $40,000 per year Only serious applicants need apply. The following requirements are a must: * Ability to engage with customers and answer product questions. Complete sales transactions. *Ability to load / unload materials on commercial LTL and FTL carriers. * Experience in inventory control, accuracy is critical. * Setting up trucking using third party ship brokers *Experience supervising direct report employees. *Proficient with Microsoft Office Word, Outlook, Xcel and Quick Books. *Strong organizational skills and very detail oriented. *Experience working in a warehouse / customer service environment. * Ability to lead by example. * Work well independently and with team members. Show initiative. *Ability to meet daily deadlines. *Must be able to lift 50 lbs. *Forklift experience.
