*** Work 36 hours per week = Get paid for 40 hours Micro-Mech Inc. is a fast-growing, technologically-driven manufacturing facility that is seeking an entry level band saw operator (willing to train the right candidate). This position will provide the successful candidate with the chance to learn new skills and work as a team member within a clean and safe environment. The ideal candidate for this role will be highly motivated, eager to learn, pays strong attention to detail and is committed to workplace safety. Responsibilities will consist of, and may not be limited to: • Perform appropriate duties as assigned by management • Follow established safety rules and regulations • Safely cut large slabs to final size • Replace saw blades as needed • Assure quality and production requirements are met, per the job-specific travelers Requirements: • High School Diploma or equivalent required • Good mechanical skills • Time management skills • Punctuality and reliability • Excellent attention to detail • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds • Ability to stand for most of the work day • Ability to use/read a tape measure (dial calipers & micrometers a plus) Benefits available for Full-time employees: • Accrued vacation time (2 weeks after 1 year) • Health, Vision, and Dental insurance • 401K participation after 30 days of employment • 10 Paid Holidays annually per company calendar • 8 PTO days accrued annually per company calendar Position Hours: • FOUR day work week: • Monday – Thursday 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM • Overtime available Pay Rate: • Competitive pay based on experience • $17-18/hour for entry-level
