Our fast-growing, technologically-driven manufacturing firm is seeking a Quality Control Manager. This position will provide the successful candidate with the chance to apply their knowledge, learn new skills and work as a team within a clean and safe environment. The ideal candidate should have 3-5+ years’ experience in Quality Control/ISO 9001 environment, pay strong attention to detail and is committed to workplace safety. Responsibilities will consist of, and may not be limited to: • Monitoring the production and doing periodic Quality Control checks • Implementing improvements to production processes that lead to overall increases in product quality, and customer satisfaction • Working together with Managers to discuss solutions to quality issues • Satisfying customer expectations about the product's quality • Calibration of Tools • Responsible for all aspects of ISO, including ISO Audits & Complying with ISO accreditation requirements • Train where necessary to comply with ISO requirements • Auditing materials provided by suppliers (8D, etc…) to assure no future defects when a problem is found. • Training new Quality Control employees • Have and Utilize extensive knowledge of GD&T • Continuing education on newly developing Quality Control techniques and measuring devices • Keep accurate documentation Requirements • Proven experience as Quality Manager; Conscientious and Responsible • A keen eye for detail and a results driven approach • Outstanding communication skills • Excellent organizational and leadership skills • Proficient in MS Office • In depth understanding of quality control procedures and relevant legal standards • Excellent math abilities and working knowledge of data analysis Benefits available for Full-time employees • Accrued vacation time (2 weeks after 1 year) • Health, Vision, and Dental Insurance • 401K after 30 days of employment • 10 paid Holidays annually per company calendar • 8 PTO days accrued annually per company calendar Position Hours • Monday – Friday (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM) Pay Rate • Salary competitive based on experience
