We are starting to renovate our two-bedroom apartment. Total area of the apartment is 890 square feet. Location is in Manhattan, near FDR drive.
Total rooms: master bedroom, small bedroom, kitchenette, living room, three closets (not walk in) and a small hall. No bathrooms for this project!
Need to do the following: paint the ceiling (prep work, primer, two coats) in every room. Prep and prime and paint two coats walls in every room. New Engineered floors to be glued on top of the existing wood floors. add new baseboards. replace all light switch plates and power outlets to new ones. Replace old doors with new ones, install hardware on new doors, of course.
Kitchenette: remove old tiles, put new tiles. Replace appliances -everything is going back where the old appliances are now. Throw out one fridge, keep the other one. Install new cabinets including the kitchen sink. Install backsplash tiles.
replace the light fixtures, replace light switchers.
The person applying for the job better have the license of a general contractor for New York
