GARDEN CITY, NY — Garden City's popular Friday Night Promenades are returning this year. Every Friday this summer, residents can enjoy outdoor events on Seventh Street, with a different theme each week. The Friday Night Promenades are run in conjunction between the village and the Garden City Chamber of Commerce. They run from 6 to 10 p.m. every Friday night. The events are free and open to everyone. The first promenade begins this week, and continues through mid-September.
