Looking for NY bands that have something to offer

PLEASE READ BEFORE RESPONDING I'm not a producer, there are no get-rich schemes here - I'm just looking for some good local bands. I put on shows occasionally, I know a lot of the local bands, I'm just looking for a couple more very good, fun bands, that's it. What kind of music - basically a rock/rock and roll/pop kind of thing, touches of funk, r&b and dance are fine, alt-country is fine. Primarily originals, a large amount of covers MIGHT be ok but highly doubtful. I'm basically looking for rock/rock and roll bands that are fun and can get people dancing, that's mainly what I want. I want SONGS, I want SINGING, I want melodies and hooks, I want stuff that will make people smile and say WOW. What happens if you're a solo person and not a band - well, if you're good, contact me. What I DON'T want - hard rock, heavy metal, death metal, shoegaze, prog-rock, NOTHING VERY LOUD. I'm also not looking for folk-rock, I'm generally not looking for anything you might call indie or alternative rock, I don't necessarily want jambands unless you're 1969 Grateful Dead. There are exceptions to everything, if you think I could possibly be interested then try me. PLEASE SEND MUSIC LINKS (not files) and any links of live gigs would also be greatly appreciated. Please include a brief description of where you've been playing. I am looking primarily for EXPERIENCED BANDS who've been gigging for awhile, are serious about their music and are RELIABLE.
