PM Chad Anderson or Darren Bolingbroke. Lisa Burbank is so many wonderful things, but when it comes to listing them, it seems an insurmountable challenge. She is an amazing wife, mother, daughter, sibling, ex-wife, friend, and human being. When life throws lemons at her, this phrase comes to mind because of how extraordinary she is; “There are no great people in this world, only great challenges which ordinary people rise to meet.” Unfortunately, she and her family have had to meet so many challenges in their lives and this May, another was added to their plate. Just over three years ago, Lisa and her wife, Amy, along with their family lost everything to a house fire. With the help of their tribe, they were able to rebuild their house and move back home. Hoping that was the largest obstacle they would ever have to rise to meet together, they looked forward to a calm future and spending time with their 4 boys. Well, life had something else in store for this cute family. Lisa was diagnosed with breast Cancer a little less than one month ago. She has a bilateral mastectomy scheduled June 10th, and until then, it is unknown if the cancer has metastasized. Unknowing whether there will be a need for chemotherapy or radiation until after the surgery, the family will follow whatever treatment will be necessary and ongoing. Once again, Lisa and Amy are hoping to rely on their tribe for help.
