Everett Community College briefly went into lockdown at about 1:10 p.m. on Monday, June 6 after Everett police received a report that there was a person pointing guns at cars at the Starbucks next to EvCC's main campus in Everett.
Police responded and detained a person. There is no threat to EvCC's campus. The lockdown ended several minutes after it began. EvCC is now open and classes have resumed. EvCC appreciates the quick response from Everett police.
