LOUDOUN COUNTY, VA — U.S. marshals arrested a man on Tuesday who was wanted in connection with a shooting at an Ashburn apartment. The Loudoun County Sheriff's Office said marshals apprehended 30-year-old Angad Silvia in New Jersey. Authorities said that no injuries were reported in the May 31 shooting, though one apartment was struck by gunfire. The sheriff's office identified Angad Sivia as a suspect in the shooting last week. Sivia is charged with two counts of discharging a firearm at an occupied dwelling, attempted malicious wounding, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and use of a firearm during the commission of a felony. On Tuesday, Sivia was held at the Ocean County Jail in Toms River, New Jersey on a fugitive of justice warrant. He is awaiting an extradition hearing that would bring him back to Virginia. In their report, the sheriff's office said Sivia fired gunshots in the Ashburn apartment during an argument with the people who lived there. Authorities said it was an isolated incident and was not reported to previous shots fired reports in Ashburn. Read more: Suspect In Ashburn Apartment Shooting May Have Fled The Area: Police
