Come on out this unique event event for singles in NYC! Make social connections and possibly find love at this awesomely exciting singles social event! You'll enjoy an evening of meeting new people! Our friendly host will be orchestrating the event and making introductions among the group. You'll be put in small groups and play some easy and fun social games with the group (group sizes are about 4 or 5 people per group. Then you'll then be rotating from table to table so you get a chance to meet and play games with everyone of the opposite gender throughout the night. HOW THE MATCHING WORKS: Very much like traditional speed dating, you will get a match card. After you meet everyone you'll write down the names of people you'd like to see again. At the end of the evening you will hand your match card in to the event host. If you both select each other, we will send you each others' email address within 48 hours so you can set up a date with them. It's the perfect way to meet someone! WHAT ARE THE GAMES? As you rotate and meet people, the host will be announcing fun "get to know you" games to help you get to know each other and have some fun. For an example, one game that people really love is similar to Family Feud. The host will ask a question like... "Name a fruit that reminds you have a part of the body". Everyone will write down an answer (ie. peach, banana, etc.). Then everyone holds up their answer. If you match with anyone you get a point. It's so much fun! Another fun game is a "betting" game that people have a blast playing. People in the group pull a card from a deck. On each card there is something written like... I Have Lost My Car In A Parking Garage. The rest of the group has to take "bets" whether it actually happened to the person. If you guess correctly (yes it did happen to them or no it didn't happen to them) you get a point. During the games you'll have a chance to win raffle tickets for chances to win Amazon gift cards and more prizes! * SUGGESTED AGE RANGE - 20s, 30s & 40s * CHECK IN IS FROM 6:45 TO 7:00. Through the years we've organized many traditional speed dating events. We had a host that would sometimes invite the guests to stay around if they wanted to after the event to play some games. She would bring some fun interactive "get to know you" games and other fun chance/luck games. We noticed something fascinating start to happen! More people would make connections at the games after the event than at the actual speed dating! That led us to creating this event. It's the perfect way to meet people in this busy city! FAQ: Can I come alone? Yes about 75% of those attending will be coming solo. But you can also invite friends to join you. Everyone must have a ticket to enter. Is there an age range? We have a suggested age range of 20s, 30s & 40s Is there a dress code? No specific dress code. We just suggest "neat casual" How many will be attending? We expect around 30 people to attend. What are the games? They are simple but extremely fun games that don't require much skill... they are mostly fun games that help you get to know people and some games of luck and chance. We assure you... the games are really, really fun and you don't need to know how to play anything in particular (ie. you won't be playing blackjack or poker or anything like that)
