Home chefs have long approached choux pastry—or pâte à choux—with trepidation. Well fear the puff no more! We will demystify this light pastry dough that is used across multiple cultures to create both sweet and savory pastries! You will learn the tricks to making a choux dough, piping, and flavorings as we make the French savory gougéres and delicate cream puffs. Instructor: Lindsay Smith FAQsIs this a demo or hands-on cooking class? This is a HANDS-ON cooking class. Instead of group cooking and family style eating, everyone will now have their own station, utensils, equipment, and ingredients. If you attend a class with a partner, you will be sharing a station (table for two). You will be provided additional ingredients to share and prepare with your guest.
