Description
This gorgeous wobbly girl, JoJo, is ready to go home! Pics show her today vs. the day she got to her foster home from the shelter. She’s gained weight, her face is all healed, and her coat is gloriously long and healthy. She has mild to moderate Cerebellar Hypoplasia (AKA CH; https://vcahospitals.com/know-your-pet/cerebellar-hypoplasia-in-cats ) and has no trouble getting around to eat and use the potty. If you’ve never had a special needs cat - she is purr-fect! It is obvious JoJo was not thriving as a stray and spent the beginning of her life malnourished. Because of this, she will forever be a very small girl. She maxes out at about 5 pounds, maybe. Don't let her floof fool you - she is a very smol kitty! She’s also calmed down a lot since her traumatic experience being trapped and taken from her colony - the only home she’s ever known - and abandoned at the shelter. She’s spicy and let’s you know when she’s scared with a growl and a swat (she’s not able to quickly flee like other cats and it makes her feel threatened more easily). Understandably, she’s very fearful of dogs and hides when they bark or come near her. A no dog house would be ideal; although, she doesn’t mind cats. We know this special girl is going to need a VERY special home to teach her to trust and love humans. She’s a peaceful quiet soul that deserves a family to give her unconditional love 💕 Please visit https://www.sunnyacresranch.org/get-involved to complete a foster or adoption application. We are more than willing to work with and support anybody interested in opening their home to JoJo and are open to do a foster-to-adopt, meaning there is no promise of you adopting her so you can see how well you get along. JoJo is around one year old, spayed, microchipped, dewormed and vaccinated. Adoption fee applies, but may be reduced for the right home. Please contact our Rescue Coordinator via text or call at with any questions! *Sunny Acres Ranch & Rescue is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization*
