Description

Traditional Reiki is based on an external source of power. Shamanic Reiki is based on internal sources of power. There are many ways to use Reiki. Some people prefer using it as a tool to help others heal themselves. Others prefer using it to help themselves heal. Both methods work well. Traditional Reiki is based on a hierarchical view of God/the universe. It prescribes certain hand positions and symbols. Shamanic Reiki is based on an egalitarian view of nature. It invites us to go in an intimate and intuitive direction. In studying traditional Reiki, you will discover that most schools of Reiki prescribe very specific hand positions and symbols, not to be deviated from. In the practice of Shamanic Reiki, we go in a much more intimate and intuitive direction. We invite you to open your heart and let your intuition guide you. You do not have to have any prior training to partake in this wonderful adventure. Things you will learn.
