Tucson’s best pizzerias go slice for slice in a battle for pizza supremacy! Eat and vote for your favorite slice and sweet at the 2022 Pizza Throwdown and Dessert Duel. The Tucson Originals will host the 2022 Annual Pizza Throwdown taking place on June 25th from 6:00 P.M to 8:00 P.M at Fresco Pizzeria and Pastaria located at 3011 E Speedway Blvd, Tucson, AZ 85716. The Pizza Throwdown will feature local pizzerias competing for the title of Pizza Throwdown Champion. In addition to Throwdown the Dessert Duel will compete for best dessert. This year’s Pizza Throwdown and Dessert Duel competitors include: • Rocco’s Little Chicago • Zio Peppe • Casino Del Sol • Arizona Pizza Co • Fresco Pizzeria & Pastaria • Mama Louisa’s • Uppercrust Pizza • Trident Pizzas Pub • Gourmet Girls Gluten Free Bakery • The Dutch • Dante Fire • More TBA Barrio Brewing Co. and Firetruck Brewing Company. will be on site pouring their locally brewed beers. Guests will receive three drink tickets and all the pizza they can eat!
