Join us in Charlotte Street’s, Kemper Library for our first Midwest Poetics Panel of the year. Our program partners, One Mic Stand KC will be in conversation with the artists who will be performing at our showcase in the evening! Panelists Include Artists: Aisha, Lenny, Dame, Adeta Marie, Trey Newman and Zeph France The Midwest Poetics Showcase that will be following this panel discussion in the evening -- is a special one -- as it will be in celebration of River Makenzie’s solo show. River is a visual artist and organizer and ½ of One Mic Stand KC. Come out to see her work and hear the voices of the artists and performers that represent our writing community!
