Hello. I recently relocated myself and family to East Texas a few months ago and am trying to get our household belongings moved down here with us to our new home. There's many ways to go about this and most of them (simplest anyways) involve a rental truck through U-Haul or another similar company and that's averaging roughly $4,000.00 + gas and other expenses for the 1750 mile journey. What I'm looking for is someone who has the equipment (truck and trailer or box van/truck ect.) or is maybe passing through the Reno/Carson City Nevada area who can stop and load up our belongings and bring them here. Our storage unit is in Dayton Nevada (20 minutes East of Carson City Nevada) and is I believe a 25x10 unit. We lived in a 3Bed 2Bath apartment and have consolidated once before we left already but will probably do a bit more before the final haul out. We should be able to recruit the help of enough friends and family for the loading and unloading that manpower shouldn't be an issue. I do however need somebody reliable and trustworthy. I'd really enjoy having our stuff back and in our new home when all said and done. We are willing to pay a fair amount for services rendered to include fuel, time, labor, wear and tear ect. and will be given in two (2) parts. Once at beginning of job/trip and the other upon safe arrival/delivery.
