Press release from the Ventura County Sheriff's Office: June 03, 2022 The Camarillo Police Department is currently accepting applications from Camarillo residents to join their community volunteer programs. There are three volunteer groups consisting of the Camarillo Citizen Patrol (C.C.P.), Disaster Assistance Response Team (D.A.R.T.) and Explorers. All programs are supervised by the Camarillo Police Department for the city of Camarillo. The Ventura County Sheriff's Office and the Camarillo Police Department have long experienced strong partnerships with citizen volunteers. The contributions made by these trained volunteers have been an integral part of the support system needed to achieve law enforcement's mission of public safety.
