Join the Holliday Nature Preserve Association and Detroit Audubon for a walk around the Holliday Nature Preserve- (Koppernick Section) Tulip Loop Trail. We'll learn about the history and work done around the area, pass an egret rookery, vernal pool and hope to see a variety of bird species that call this big tree forest home.
The trail is soft, so be sure to wear appropriate shoes (boots are recommended). There is a parking lot that can fit 6 cars, so arrive early. Overflow parking can be found along the gravel road.
To become a member of Detroit Audubon for $30 and pay the discounted price, add a $30 donation when checking or click here.
A waiver for Covid 19 is included in the registration process and the following protocols will be in place in order to have a safe walk for all involved:
1. Must register in advance, no touch check-in at start of field trip
2. We ask that if you have been exposed to anyone with Covid 19 or are feeling unwell to please stay home
3. Binoculars will be available to use, but must be requested during registration
