On May 18, 2022, Harry E. Anderson VFW Post 9545, New Lenox, IL held a brief ceremony prior to its regular monthly meeting to congratulate the 2 winners of the T-Shirt design, and flyer design for the 3rd Annual Warriors Walk on Saturday, September 10, 2022, starting at 8 am. The Warriors Walk is taking place to raise needed funds to help Prevent Veteran Suicide which happens at an average of 22 per day. Tyler Righter of Lincoln Way West designed the flyer and will receive the first printed flyer and a T-Shirt, and he also received a $250 Visa Gift Card for his winning submission. Kylie Mongan of Lincoln Way West designed the T-Shirt that will be available for sale to raise much-needed funds for Operation Headstrong and she also received a $250 Visa Gift Card for her winning submission, along with a flyer and a T-Shirt. All Post 9545 members congratulate both of these outstanding students for their hard work and participation in the very important event.
