Sweet kitty in need of re-homing

This kitty is super affectionate and just wants to cuddle all day. He could use the TLC. He loves time outside on the balcony and stays close. I just adopted this guy, but as we found out, my tenant is severely allergic and I must re-home him. It breaks my heart to have let him down. Adoption info: name given by spca: Sir John (I’ve been calling him Duckie) 3-8 yo, all vaccinations up to date, neutered, microchipped, FIV +, currently on antibiotics for his fur. (Currently growing back). He was found as a stray. Would love seniors or introverts, but he does well with all. I also have dishes, toys ( that he has not been at all interested in) cat house, scratcher post, some food etc. This guy is a purring, nuzzle-machine. It’s hypnotic and calming.
