This position is for individuals with moderate construction experience, passion and desire to develop and grow within the industry. You will have the opportunity to learn the basics while getting a first-hand experience on project sites.
RESPONSIBILITIES as follows, but not limited to
On-site support (Assisting w/demolition, rough framing, insulation, waterproofing, drywall, trim work, painting, window/door installations, fixture installations, etc.)
On-site material/tool management
Site maintenance (Keeping the site clear of trash/debris, unnecessary tools/materials)
Adhere to all safety requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum of 1-2 years in the construction industry
Must have experience with residential projects
Capable of operating power tools
Lift a minimum of 100lbs
Work well individually as well as in a team
Ability to adapt to constant change in a fast-paced industry
Must be detail oriented
Must posses strong communication skills
Must have a valid CA drivers license, clean driving record and capable of driving pick-up truck
PREFERRED SKILLS
Familiar with plumbing and electrical to a certain degree
Interested in learning different trades
Capable of reading plans to a certain degree
Nailing schedules, shear walls, etc.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $30.00 per hour DOE
