Because it would take a world army to TAKE anyone's guns or successfully invade America. There are more weapons in the hands of well trained retired veterans, than there are in any army in the world. That doesn't include the remaining gun owning population. Any broken existing gun laws should be prosecuted very aggressively, and sentences carried out to full term. No early releases for gun law violations, and no leniency. Immediate death for cop killers, and minimum of life for all murderers. Most murderers are repeat gun law violators, and those that aren't are on some agencies radar. There should be some liability and consequences for those governments and judges who repeatedly release violent offenders who reoffend, creating more innocent victims. The blood is on their hands, and I don't know why this is not being addressed. Unless it is all intentional. Stupidity is thinking anyone is going to willingly give up their right to protect themselves, while blowboy Barry, and slow Joe keep arming terrorists, and releasing violent offenders.
