Hello and welcome to Lobsterboys, we are The Crustacean Authority. We partner with the fishermen in Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, and Quebec to buy direct from their boats, enabling us to deliver lobsters unlike any you’ve ever seen or tasted before Lobsterboys’ operations is rapidly growing. As a result of this expansion, we are looking forward to building out our Lobsterboys team in Huntington, New York. We are actively recruiting for delivery Drivers (non-CDL) for a third shift schedule. A great job for someone looking for seasonal work or a long-term opportunity to grow with a company that is investing in their business. Professional drivers welcome, although our vehicles currently do not require a CDL to operate. Pay is weekly at $22.00 per hour. Work a 3-day shift: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Start at 3am. Main Job Responsibilities: • Deliver lobsters in packaging of 20-100# safely using a Company van-type vehicle or small box truck not requiring a CDL to drive; delivery into locations via two-wheel dolly • Maintain inventory of products; receive and count as needed • Inspect live lobsters for damage/quality • Maintain a clean and orderly warehouse environment • Follow all safety protocol and warehouse procedures Qualifications: • Valid driver’s license; be prepared to discuss driving record; certify no DUI/DWI within the last 10 years, disclose any moving violations within the last 3 years • Must be 21 years of age to be able to occasionally cross state lines in a work vehicle • Experience driving small trucks or vans in a business setting, or, in the event of no experience, a clean driving record and aware of safety and hands-free driving at all times • Ability to lift to 100#; note that most anything over 50# is a team lift, nevertheless, this job is physical in nature • Ability to maintain a schedule and be reliable; work overtime as needed • Able to communicate and treat other employees, customers, and the public with respect • Respect for safety on the road and in the warehouse
