VCA Central Kitsap Animal Hospital is currently seeking an experienced housekeeper to join our team. We are an 11 doctor AAHA Accredited Veterinary Practice with Primary Care, Emergency and Specialty medicine. This position does not and will not include any animal handling duties. Responsibilities include general building maintenance and janitorial duties, such as cleaning rest rooms and kitchen, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, trash removal, and maintaining cleanliness of outside areas. Dependable attendance is required. Must be able to lift 40lbs and be willing to work long, irregular hours under pressure conditions. This position requires the ability to walk, bend, stand, and reach constantly during a minimum 8 hour day. Any allergies to animals must be controllable through medication. This is a full time position, days and hours vary. Weekends and evenings are required.
