The BDC (Business Development Center) Service Dept. Appointment Coordinator is a professional, responsible, and outgoing person to work in our high volume, fast paced, busy service department. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with customer service experience. In this role, you will help increase overall service repair orders for our dealership as you generate appointments for our service department.
Job Duties Include:
• Receives/manages incoming service appointment calls by scheduling appointments, confirming pending appointments, following up with missed appointments, etc.
• Coordinates customer questions and issues with the appropriate department personnel
• Makes appointments for customers in the service department software system
• Handles customer complaints or escalates when necessary
• Helps follow up with phone and internet service leads
Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent
Outgoing personality
Knowledge of the English language, spelling, grammar, punctuation and numbering systems
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees
Working knowledge of computers and Microsoft software products
Knowledge of basic math
Must have a valid driver’s license
Successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen, motor vehicle and background check
Hours: Monday through Friday 7:00AM to 5:00PM, Occasional Saturday
