CLOVIS / FRESNO BUSINESS NOW HIRING ===================================== Monument company, established for over 20 years and growing! We create granite headstones, signs, and large public monuments. Position will assist in production in our shop, and/or will deliver headstones to various cemetery locations around the valley. There is occasional overnight travel required. Skills: - Able to lift/carry approximately 100 lbs short distances. Delivery truck has a small crane for picking up larger/heavier pieces. - Candidate MUST have a clean DMV record - no exceptions. Commercial drivers license not required. - Drive a forklift. - Use hand tools. - Knowledge of sandblasting a plus, but not required. - Able to read a measuring tape accurately. - Conscientious, detail oriented, and able to follow procedures. - Strong work ethic. - Punctual and reliable. Position will be eligible to be trained to sandblast and assist production in the shop. There is an automated sandblaster, as well as a manual one; will train for sandblasting techniques. All tools are furnished on site, you will not need to bring any of your own tools. Basic production / shop knowledge would be helpful. We do move heavy pieces of granite around, and you will need to be able to lift 80 - 100 pounds a short distance, from one table to the next, etc. Position requires flexibility/mobility in that there is lifting, bending, etc. Willing to train someone with an appropriate background.
